How long before a Fifa international friendly does a club have to let their players go?

Fifa just told the Galaxy that they have to let Beckham go whether it is a competitive match or a friendly. The only difference is how long before they have to let him go… does anyone know the time period in both instances?

as soon as possible…

have you flown in economy with qantas for an international flight?

Posted by admin on December 19th, 2009 and filed under international flight | 6 Comments »

If you’ve flown with Qantas on an international flight formore than 5 hours. how does it size up to the other airlines you’ve flown with in terms of seat size, and general comfort.

I think it is much better than most! Besides China Air, Quantas was the more comfy and better service than any other airline I have flown internationally.

Have fun!

What course is better International Baccuerlate(IB) or International, Business & Technology(IBT)?

The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a recognized leader in the field of international education, encouraging students to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged world citizens. Founded in 1968, we currently work with 1,921 schools in 124 countries to develop and offer three challenging programmes to more than 500,000 students aged 3 to 19 years.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a group of three educational programmes, as established by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).

These three programmes are the following:

* IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for pupils aged 3 to 12
* IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) for pupils aged 11 to 16
* IB Diploma Programme (DP) for pupils aged 16 to 19

The programmes are modelled after educational systems from around the world, without being based on any particular one, but incorporating breadth of study at all levels. The Diploma Programme started in 1968 at the International School of Geneva, the Middle Years programme was introduced in 1994, and the Primary Years Programme in 1997. Their rigour and high standards have ensured their wide recognition throughout the world, reputedly being looked upon favourably as a qualification by formidable tertiary institutions such as the Ivy League of American universities, and Oxbridge, amongst others.[citation needed] As of 2006, the programmes are currently being taught to over 500,000 students.

The International Baccalaureate Programme is also a common misnomer used to refer to one of these programmes (most frequently the IB Diploma Programme). High schools often advertise that they offer the “International Baccalaureate Programme,” in which case it is obvious that they are referring to the DP as it is the only one of the three programmes intended for students of senior high school age.

What is the point of a ‘conference’ where the only participants invited all share the same views?

Posted by admin on December 19th, 2009 and filed under international conference | 10 Comments »

I’d always thought conferences were designed to allow people to air different viewpoints and debate them – http://madeleinefoundation.org/main/2009/08/2nd-international-conference-on-madeleine-mccann/ – am I missing something?

Your thoughts?
I’d suggest it was more of a caucus – http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/caucus

No point at all, any dissenter will be removed very quickly.
it’s just a mutual backslapping affair when they can all congratulate one another and then leave the conference to continue screwing things up again.

How long does it takes to go by subway to the Toronto International Airport?

Posted by admin on December 17th, 2009 and filed under go international | 5 Comments »

I’m going to go to the Toronto Pearson Internacional Airport (Canada) by the TTC from Coxwell to Kipling, and then by 192 bus. Does anyone know how long does it take? Based on your on experience, or just from another subway station to the airport.

By subway? Well…as fast as you can dig. It doesn’t extend out to Pearson. The TTC does in a way, but not the subway. Here’s a link to the best route which looks to be exactly what you’re planning. http://www.toronto.ca/ttc/service_to_airport.htm
The travel times are listed there.
I laugh at the peons that rated this down. I guess they HAVE dug the subway out there. Sorry, it’s not been done, at least not officially. there is NO subway to Pearson period. The TTC DOES go out there but not anywhere near or into the airport proper as a "subway". The best route is the one I indicated and most direct from the Coxwell area. using the TTC.
Sure, you can use express services and taxis. It’s not what you asked for.
Those peons must be confusing Heathrow in London, where the tube (aka subway) DOES go to the airport directly.
People, unless you’ve travelled the road, don’t comment on it.
