It isn’t the route that determines the TVS, its the aircraft. Most international A330s, A340s, 757s, 767s, and 777s have TVS. Check seatguru.com.

I’m flying from Houston to Seoul in a few months, and I’ve found great deals on flights.. however, I can’t decide which airline to take. United and Delta are both pretty much equal in price, and I have no experience with flying on either one for an international flight.

United is cheap on Transpacific routes. Delta has improved service on international routes during the past three years. I would fly Delta or Korean Air if I was flying to Seoul.

It still exists but every airline has a different way of handling. On their individual web sites most have an interpitaion of how they will handle those problems. Hope this helps.

You can also type "flights to <destination>" on Yahoo search and fill the form that comes up.

US Today’s website has one for domestic flights. I need international. also, the plane will arrive Tuesday, so I can’t use a site like Cheapflights.com which only deals with flights a certain number of days in advance. (I tried.)

Korean airline only permits dog, cat, and bird. FAQ says that any other animal can not be on board. I think that you should check another airlines.

First!! Check with your airline. Baggage rules and fees have changed more in the last six months than they have in the last 20 years!!

Usually – an international itinerary allows for two checked bags not to exceed 70lbs and 62 linear inches (l+w+d). Golf clubs can be counted as one bag if it contains only golf gear. Don’t stuff it with anything other than clubs, shoes and golf essentials.

Some airlines will charge you domestic fees for additional bags (more than one) and overweight (over 50lbs) if your first leg of travel is to a port city in the US as opposed to a direct flight right out of the US.

Best to get the details from your carrier – and beware of customer service outsourcing (like calling United Airlines and getting India) you may get some confusing/conflicting advice.
