Is there any international center for preserving technology, as to prevent another dark ages?

The "Dark Ages" was only dark in the sphere of the Roman Catholic Church. Progress continued in the middle east and in the far east…

The world has several major religions and it is unlikely that all would obtain simultaneous hegemony (control of church and state)…

The key to the dark ages was control of both church and state. There had to be essentially one religion and that religion had to be in control of the state, too….

If that nightmare scenario were to happen – any "international center for preserving technology" would have its records destroyed. That is what happened during the dark ages…

How does development of nuclear technologies affect international security?

Iran for example.

The problem with Iran is that they have a President who says a lot of nonsense that maybe he doesnt even mean or believe. People get worried that if they had the bomb what would they do with it? Bomb Israel, Europe, the US, Saudi?

So when you get a terrible weapon why did you want it and what will you use it for are the issues. These two questions give rise to a lot of speculation and worry. Personally I would worry more anout North Korea as they have nothing to loose.

We have them but of course we are the good guys so we wouldnt do anything bad with them.

international academy of design and technology in tampa fl?

the music production class. is it any good? im 17 and after i get my ged i want to go to that school to learn about music production, but i just want to know if its legit or if its mediocre or what ever. anyone got any feedback from personal experience?

the tuition costs more than Harvard.
I’d stick with a normal state university, usf, fsu, UF….

4 years of one of those collegs = 1 year at IADT.

Unless you have a very big network in the music industry and know lots of people and have a very very very big shot at making it big, I wouldn’t accumulate such debt.

Are the arts institute or the International academy of design and technology-?

any good for interior design
i want to get into interior design, and i am interested in the seattle area. are those collages listed any good? my dad said that it will get me nowhere *he is a tool and dye maker* but i believe he is wrong.

I go to the Art Institutes International Minnesota in Minneapolis and am absolutely loving it. Now I go for a Graphic Design major, but I hear people are very, very happy with the Interior Design program. It could vary from school to school, especially with Ai. Take the Chicago school for example, it is a detailed more towards Culinary, while the LA school is more for Fashion Design. The Philadelphia School is more of an Animation school, and that’s a traditional medium (pencil / pen and paper) animation.

I will not lie, Ai is expensive, but I’m very happy with the school itself.

On a side-note, have you checked out the U of Washington, and their Interior Design program? What about Digipenn, they’re a HUGELY renowned school for any type of art. If your willing, I would even think UCLA, they’re very famous for many of their liberal degree’s.

If your interested, tour the school(s), and see what you like / dislike about the school. On an off day, go into the school and sit in during a class, or talk with the professors / students there. See if you can get hold of some alumnae from any of the schools your looking to going to.

Me personally, I’m in frequent contact with a designer from the Philadelphia School who works with Cartoon Network right now, and he’s responsible for a lot of the story-boarding / animation on the television show Chowder. I have also talked to more then a couple alumnae who have hit it off big. It’s taught me more then a couple things about the school, and the one main thing is that it will make you earn that degree. It is not easy. Remember that.

Good luck in your decisions.

How much cost to study in United States for MS in computer Science for an International student?

Posted by admin on February 18th, 2010 and filed under international technology | 4 Comments »

I want to study MS (Computer Science/ Information Technology) in United States as an International Student.

Can you please tell me what will be the minimum amount I should be spending as fee and living cost.

Thanks in advance

It really depends on the university. State universities are relatively cheaper than private universities, however you will pay approximately 3 times more than state residents because you are not a US citizen and therefore not a resident of that state. State universities could cost an average of $16,000/year not including room and board. Private universities could cost an average of $30,000/year not including room and board. You must also take into account the cost of living for the geographic area of your choice. You could also apply for an assistantship where most of your tuition costs can be covered by the university.
