Do you or have you attended this school? i have a question..
What do they look for in incoming students, and how do they pick who to accept?
Thanks!
Well I was accept to the one in San Antonio, you just have to show you compassion for fashion and just prove to them that you can do it. Its like an interview with the admin. rep its really no big deal
…issued a press release:
(LAS VEGAS, Nev.)-Cynthia Jay was smiling ear to ear as she walked into the news conference at The Desert Inn Resort in Las Vegas today, and well she should. Last night, the 37-year-old cocktail waitress won the world’s largest slot jackpot-$34, 959, 458-on a Megabucks machine. She said she had played $27 in the machine when the jackpot hit. Nevada Megabucks has produced 49 major winner in its 14-year history. The top jackpot builds from a base amount of $7 million and can be won with a 3-coin ($3) bet.
a) How can the Desert Inn afford to give away millions of dollars on a $3 bet?
b) Why did the company issue a press release? Wouldn’t most businesses want to keep such a huge loss quiet?
How can they afford such a big payout ?
With the money the 34,000,000 other people lost, $3 at a time.
They take in money by the boatload (well maybe only half a boatload these days, but you get the idea).
Their air conditioning bill is probably bigger than that.
Second, they buy insurance on these jackpots, so the insurance company picks up the tab. (The insurance companies offload the risk to other insurance companies in a practice called re-insurance. The pain is well spread around.)
They publicize this so that more suckers will show up figuring "If this woman can do it, so can I." That leads to many, many small wins.
Don’t worry about the "losses" of the Las Vegas casinos.
They are doing ok.

you think that this will be a good year for the PS3?
The PS3 is the cheapest blue-ray player on the market.
Blu-ray winning the war isn’t going to make a huge impact on the PS3. It’s possible to get cheaper Blu-ray players than the PS3. For Christmas, I got a Blu-ray player for about 300 bucks. But PS3 can’t win unless Blu-ray wins. If HD-DVD have won, I think Sony would be in deep trouble. The casual gamer isn’t going to buy a PS3 for the Blu-ray technology because it’s most likely going to be useless to them if HD-DVD is the supported format.
2008 is going to be a good year for the PS3 simply because of the games. It’s been well over a year, and the PS3 still haven’t seen any major blockbuster games, but this year, it’s going to be different. Metal Gear Solid 4 is scheduled to come out this year, and we all know that MGS4 is going to be a system seller. This is the game that’s going to make all non-PS3 owners salivate. Killzone 2 is also expected to come out this year, and from footage that’s been shown, it looks better than Halo 3. There’s also LittleBigPlanet which is catching people by surprise. It looks like it’s going to be a really fun game. And finally, HOME will get released. HOME has a chance to compete with XBL.
I beg you, please tell me who went to every person on earth and surveyed your question? Common sense should tell you that your question is irrational.
Thanks!
Stay away! This school is not regionally accredited. In the USA regional accreditation is the only legitimate undergraduate accreditation, except in a few special fields such as nursing and a few areas of engineering. You will be totally wasting your time and money.
somewhere between $5 to a $5,000,000, depends what country, what position what company you are talking about.
The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a recognized leader in the field of international education, encouraging students to be active learners, well-rounded individuals and engaged world citizens. Founded in 1968, we currently work with 1,921 schools in 124 countries to develop and offer three challenging programmes to more than 500,000 students aged 3 to 19 years.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a group of three educational programmes, as established by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).
These three programmes are the following:
* IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for pupils aged 3 to 12
* IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) for pupils aged 11 to 16
* IB Diploma Programme (DP) for pupils aged 16 to 19
The programmes are modelled after educational systems from around the world, without being based on any particular one, but incorporating breadth of study at all levels. The Diploma Programme started in 1968 at the International School of Geneva, the Middle Years programme was introduced in 1994, and the Primary Years Programme in 1997. Their rigour and high standards have ensured their wide recognition throughout the world, reputedly being looked upon favourably as a qualification by formidable tertiary institutions such as the Ivy League of American universities, and Oxbridge, amongst others.[citation needed] As of 2006, the programmes are currently being taught to over 500,000 students.
The International Baccalaureate Programme is also a common misnomer used to refer to one of these programmes (most frequently the IB Diploma Programme). High schools often advertise that they offer the “International Baccalaureate Programme,” in which case it is obvious that they are referring to the DP as it is the only one of the three programmes intended for students of senior high school age.
