May an international student allow to buy house in the US?

Posted by admin on May 25th, 2010 and filed under may international | 1 Comment »

I’m 18 this year. Now, I study HS but I want to buy house when I’m in college. Where can I find information about buying house?

(I have visa F1. I’m from Viet Nam.)
Thanks a lot!
:)

Any body can buy a house in US. So you will be able to buy house but you may not be able to get a mortgage. Most banks will give mortgage only if you have some kind of immigrant status in US.

When sending international mail, may I use regular post stamps?

Posted by admin on May 18th, 2010 and filed under may international | 4 Comments »

I want to send a letter to china, but I don’t feel like going to the post office. As the letter is an ounce in weight, and I was quoted by the USPS website a fare of $0.98 USD, would it be OK if I were to just put three $0.44 USD stamps onto the envelope for mailing?

Any combination of US postage stamps adding up to 98 cents or more will work, even ‘Forever’ stamps (you would have to use three of them).

Customers can use Forever Stamps for international mail, but since all international prices are higher than domestic prices, customers will need to attach additional postage. The value of the Forever Stamp is the domestic First-Class Mail letter price in effect on the day of use.

How may this quote from the 1928 Communist International relate to modern day US liberals?

Posted by admin on April 23rd, 2010 and filed under may international | 3 Comments »

"In periods of acute crisis for the bourgeois (liberals in this case), fascism resorts to anti-capitalist phraseology, but, after it has established itself at the helm of the state, it … discloses itself as a terrorist dictatorship of big capital."

Are liberals wolves in sheep’s clothing, and once they establish themselves in power with their bleating of social justice and equality, will they doff their woolly coverings, howl their true nature, and start to feast?

I don’t think it’s relevant. Liberals are in power and are still "anti-capitalist" as per their prosecution of Goldman-Sachs for fraud and the propaganda of conservatives.

International Regulation to protect employees in the third world?

Posted by admin on April 13th, 2010 and filed under may international | 2 Comments »

In what ways might international regulation be improved to protect the interests of employees in third world countries?

Any examples of organisations which regulate internationally would be good along with examples of where they can improve.
If you can provide references that would be great.

Thanks

Bad idea.
1) The UN is useless & corrupt.
2) It would rob countries of their sovereignty.

i was informed that i may have a visa fine from 2008, im going to travel through Kuwait International Airport?

will the International Airport refuse me of getting on a plane back to the US if i actually do have a Visa fine?

You will not be able to leave Kuwait without paying the fine for violating Kuwait’s visa rules if there are any.

describe your commitment to world peace and discuss how your learning experiences may lead to international?

World Peace. I think it is A) impossible, and B ) horrible if ever made possible. There are certain fundamental differences that can never be solved thru compromise, or left alone with "to each his own." (For example, what if "my own" is raping babies or stomping puppy-skulls or something.) And at times, those irreconcilable differences will lead to war.

World peace could be possible only if all the differences that people fight for/over were erased. World peace would come only when all humans conformed to one nationality, one religion/philosophy, one race, one economic system, in short – one way of thinking and one way of behaving. That is exactly what every dictator has tried to do — and millions have (quite rightly) gone to war to stop them.

Think how bland and boring, how uniform and homogenized that world would be.

The truth is periodic wars – while doubtlessly tragic – are preferable to eternal peace. Thus I have no commitment to world peace.

How to participate as a theather group on international festivals?

Posted by admin on February 24th, 2010 and filed under may international | 1 Comment »

We are a profetional theather group from COSTARICA , and have several excelent drama preformances that may do great on international festival. We are searching for contacts. Where to write?

If I were trying to get noticed as a acting troupe I would rent some space at one of the film festivals and put on a performance. Invite everybody to your party. Sundance would be a great place to start. Go during the film festival if you can find space.
