Why is Denver International Airport filled with disturbing murals and masonic symbols?

Just google DIA murals and see what you find, Look at the one with all the kids in the coffins. It’s really sick. I have heard a lot of crazy things about DIA, I’m not sure on what is true vs urban legend.

haha–it’s true.
kids in coffins mural in dia; i think it’s near the ‘meeting area’. i used to live in denver; have flown through there many times. it’s definately there. i sat in front of it for about 20 minutes trying to see all of it. this is what dia says about it:
"“In Peace and Harmony with Nature” addresses environmental issues of the world. One side of the mural shows children pouring out great sadness over the destruction and extinction of life – human, flora and fauna. The other part depicts humanity coming together to rehabilitate and celebrate nature and its diversity."

it’s children in coffins, other children crying, with the woods aflame in the background.
one story suggests that a group has designed the artwork on the floors as a map for when the world floods again. since denver is a high city in the usa, they built an underground station for the new world order or something like that. supposedly, that’s why dia is so far from the city and so far off the main highway in the middle of nowhere. click the link to see the mural

oh–one more thing i heard: the weird ‘mountain’ tent-looking ‘art’ surrounding the outside of the airport have been rumored to protect them from radar or something. also, ever notice the blue flashy things as you ride through the tunnels underground to another terminal? why do you suppose that is? so you’ll look at the blue flashy things, and not at whatever else is there. intricate tunnel system.

Well, you do know Hunter S. Thompson is from an area not far from Denver…

I know DIA very well. I’m not sure of the masonic symbolism that you refer to, but I can tell you that they spent millions on art work, which helped to make the project go well beyond its budget. The walls of the subway system that ferries passengers between the terminals and the main building are lined with fans that spin as the trains go bye. I understand that these underwhelming fans constitute a million dollar investment.

Furthermore, they spent many millions on their baggage system of the future, which was supposed to be a fully automated conveyer belt system, taking your bags from the curb to the correct plane without the use of people. Only problem is that it never worked. It was only good for shredding bags. After nearly a decade of tweaking they decided to scrap it and use good old fashioned man power. The guts of this system are the guts of DIA and they shall forever be a multi-million dollar dusty reminder of the limits of modern technology.

I fly in and out of DIA frequently and I don’t recall any murals of kids in coffins. The murals there depict Colorado’s history and there are some photo exhibitions. I just read someones "critic" of DIA and said it is also called the New World Airport – I’ve never heard that reference. If you Google as you suggested, you find a lot of crap about DIA’s murals being evil and most importantly, you find that most of these web sites have the same sort of anti-anything-not-within-my-religious-viewpoint drone to them. A lot of the links don’t even work anymore. Forget about this crap unless you want to come to Denver to see for yourself.

Sorry friend, don’t know where you got this information, but it is not true. Like others here, I have been in and out of DIA many, many times and have never seen any such murals as children in coffins.

The murals are from a young latin graffiti artist from I believe Texas.

The only thing in that airport is a Masonic cornerstone dedication piece.
