Should i go for an international warranty for laptop bought in US? If so, how much would it cost me?
yes.. I would suggest you do. I got a HP from the states, it cost me a little over $750, so i figured I’d skip the international warranty, 6 months after I got back to India the graphics card went kaput. Now since I dint have international warranty, It would cost me close to $100 to send to the states have it fixed and sent back.
I tried authorised services centers, It first went to cochin in Kerala, and now its been in Hyderabad for about a month and a half!
I don’t remember how much the additional costs was. anyway it would have changed now. Get it if you can!

Yes, because the general warranty will be valid in the USA only. It will be better if you purchase the International Warranty. The cost of the International Warranty will depends of the manufacturer/seller (something around $200 to $700).
