Why can’t America ever host the International AIDS Conference?

Since America does not allow people who are HIV+ or those infected with full blown AIDS to step foot on American soil, how can we ever host an International AIDS Conference?

It would be nice to have it hosted here as it would bring much needed attention to this plague. I wonder if it were held here if it would make those who have casual sex think before they act. Many think that AIDS happens to "other" people. This is a disease that doesn’t discriminate.

    Two reasons.
One – we don’t want to.
Two – It would than be called the Domestic AIDS conference.

Maybe it’s because we gave more to fight aids this year then all other countries combined and just don’t have enough money left to buy goodies for a party?

Mostly because GWB is a fool, and wouldn’t allow it even if they did want it to.
