Are hermaphrodites allowed to partake in international sporting events?

That depends on whether their body uses or rejects the excess testosterone they produce.
If their bodies produce and use excessive testosterone they are not allowed to compete against other women.
With medication they are allowed to compete against women.
All athletes, men and women are tested for testosterone levels and if they are above normal the athlete is considered to be using performance enhancing drugs.

    Probably not – unless they only produced one type of hormone, jsut have the other sex’s features.
