Okay when you are flying international but you’ve done your booking by internet, do you just give them the printout that has your name and the flight details etc to the person at the check in counter, and they process that? Or is there something else you have to do. I’m going singapore airlines, if this makes any difference.
Actually you really don’t even need to bring the printout, just giving the counter agent your passport will do. It will make it easier to bring the printout with your confirmation or e-ticket number though. I always make a couple of copies and keep them with me until my travel is completed.

just the printout, plus passport, plus credit card you used to buy ticket. even if you forget printout they will still let you through with passport & credit card. its all on computer, but they need to make sure you are really person who bought ticket & of course ok to go abroad (passport)

singapore airlines usually issue electronic tickets which is normally on your confirmation. I work for an online travel company and when the confirmations are sent to our customers there is a link in which they need to click on to retrieve your e-ticket. Which website did u book your flight through? If u havent got your e-ticket then most check in staff let u check in with your passport. Hope this helps.

You will need to check in with the airline – they are required to verify that you have the appropriate travel documents before you can board the flight.
If you are using carry-on luggage, you can probably do that at the gate.
