A medical doctor by professional training, Dr. Zakir Naik is renowed as a dynamic international orator on Islam and Comparative Religion. Dr. Zakir Naik clarifies Islamic viewpoints and clears misconceptions about Islam, using the Qur’an, authentic Hadith and other religious Scriptures as a basis, in conjunction with reason, logic and scientific facts. He is 37 years old.

Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, the world famous orator on Islam and Comparative Religion, who had called Dr. Zakir, "Deedat plus" in 1994, presented a plaque in May 2000 awarded to Dr. Zakir Abdul-Karim Naik for his achievement in the field of Da’wah and the study of Comparative Religion with the engraving "Son what you have done in 4 years had taken me 40 years to accomplish, Alhamdullilah.”

Dr. Zakir Naik appears regularly on many international T.V. Channels in more than 100 countries of the world. He is regularly invited for T.V. and Radio interviews. We should konw these people, because they are the Soldiers of islam to the whole world.

I cannot explain in words, what a great work he is doing.
Actually this is the work which the whole muslim ummat is suppose to do. because after Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), this is our responsibility to
carry the message of Allah(i.e. Quran) to other people.

I am also a big fan of Dr. Zakir Naik. Hid one of the great work is that he clears misconceptions about islam in the people of other religions, because alot of forces out there which are trying
to spread misconceptions about islam and muslims.

Not interested. Though I read him as quoted by some of answerers on YA. Haroon above did it I think.

Dr. Naik misquoted , mis translated and thus misleaded about sloks of Bhagvat Geeta. So much for the truth.

Why cant he preach Islam without misrepresentating other books? Why Islamic sites and scholars quote verses from Upanishads out of context and with wrong translations to justify Islam?

Though May be I should thank him. I read Geeta after reading some of his quotes from it to chek it out. Though I found he had Twisted the true facts , I am enjoying the re-read these days.
