Is there any bank called Royal Bank of Scotland International Plc?

Is there anybody called Mr Paul Leeds that is Working at the Bank, And i was told he is in charge of Dr Godwill Williams’s Account. Linda told me so. 6th of April 2008

it’s a phone scam – but yes there is a bank in Scotland called the Royal Bank of Scotland,(But one with International at the end I am not sure) I know this because I have an account with them (RBS), and they have never phoned me asking for anything. If you have an account them, phone them and explain what happened, they will probably say it is a scam, and do not give any info to them when they call you., always phone them if you need to get in contact with them over the phone.

Hey if Linda told you it must be true.

Of course I don’t know who Linda is, nor Paul Leeds, nor Dr Williams.

Sounds like one of those Nigerian bank scams.

But there is a Royal Bank of Scotland: http://www.rbs.com/

You are a journalist in Nigeria, and yet you are not familiar with advance fee schemes to defraud through the Internet?

The key to the varied schemes is to provide just enough true information (yes, there is a Royal Bank of Scotland International), then dangle a huge monetary windfall in front of you for relatively very little from you in order to make it happen. The truth is that any money you send will be lost to you forever, and you will never see a penny in return.
